Introduction of Yao Foundation-Yao Ming established Yao Foundations as a specialized fund under China Youth Development Foundation.

• September 2007 Yao & Nash Charity Journey : American and Chinese basketball players and over 300 celebrities from

the sports, entertainment and financial field participate in the whole event , and deliver love and support to children in poor

region.

08 Sichuan Journey

Yao Foundation’s Milestone

• June2008 Yao Foundation was established after the 5.12 earthquake to fund the rebuilding program of the disaster area,

especially in building earthquake proof schools

• Sep. 2008 Yao Ming went to the earthquake area in Sichuan province and condole the children

• Sep. 2008 Yao Foundation has committed to rebuilding six schools and 16 basketball courts in the earthquake region, and

also a school for children with special needs.

• Sep 2009 Xueyan- Yao Foundation hope primary school was finished. The other five schools will be finished by the end of
