Leonard Calabrese, DO
Betsy Kirchner is board certified in rheumatology nursing and is a family nurse practitioner. Shehas worked at Cleveland Clinic since 2000 in the immunology department, primarily with Dr.Leonard Calabrese. She provides direct patient care to adults with HIV as well as autoimmunediseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, retroperitoneal fibrosis, andother conditions. Betsy is on the board of directors of the Rheumatology Nurses Society andhas published several articles and has spoken at national and international meetings.
Cleveland Clinic - Cleveland, OHDr. Leonard Calabrese heads Cleveland Clinic's Section of Clinical Immunology and managesits Clinical Immunology Clinic. He specializes in diseases of the immune system. A graduateof the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, Dr. Calabrese performed hisinternal medicine training at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, followed by a fellowship in rheumatic andimmunologic disease. Dr. Calabrese has lectured nationally and internationally on the subjectsof HIV, immunology and rheumatology and is the author of more than 300 publishedpeer-reviewed articles, book chapters and reviews.
