the incision.

The common indications for LSCS are fetaldistress in first stage, CPD , abnormal presentations like

The angle helps to negotiate curvature of the uterus (Anteflexion). It is used for measuring uterocervical length , length of thcervix (for diagnosing supra vaginal elongation of the cervix).
