In The Sky

Being in the air, exciting, thrilling, and freedom will definitely come to you.

Insteading of waching the sky, being in the sky is totally different experience. All you can feel is just yourself and the air. This unique feeling will make you addicted.

When standing in the sky, it would also be interesting to hear the sound of the wind. (just like the windy day in our classroom)

In The Water

Peace, mystery, cold and even fear will appear when you are in the water.

Instead of sitting at a sofa while watchng the suface of the sea/water, placing yourself into the water would be another unique experience.

The image shows the view towards the water through the window which is in partly in the water. You will spend hours on looking through the window. Observing anything under the water which is not common to experience.

Beside the visual way to experience the water, sometimes the sound of water would be fantastic as well. The sound is so pure that enable people to be pleasurable.

We can't live without light but we always forget the existence of the light just because it's everywhere. Its greatness will be showed when it dives into the darkness.

Instead of observing the light, touching the light is such a holy, profound behavior. The image shows somebody's hand is touching the light.

In the mountian, Silence, sacredness, safety and sometimes loneliness will rush in your heart.

The darkness will make the light even greater. Diving into the light, you will feel a sacred world which is silent and peaceful. For meditation, such a place is no more better.

Also, staying in the mountain allows people to hear themselves, since the reflection of the voice. Sometimes we just need to know our own voice in this world.

I imagine the architectural proposal will connect the natural elements together. Hence, people can experence the nature in a unique and special way.

I also imagine the proposal will activate the postroad area via connecting differents spots in these area. It is very possible that the proposal will act as a destination in this postroad leading people to climb up and explore the mountians, lakes, and the sky.

Also, the architectural proposal will create a social connection for people who living in Haukaas area.

The little white boxes in the image represent the private social space of residents. While the bigger one represents the public social platform. Hence, people have different choice of social life.

Public social space in Haukaas area is so scarce that it cannot satify people's need. The image shows the fantastic moment of different families meet and enjoy their weekend together.

The Site is located in the mountian where is natural area in Haukaas area. It is close to peak of the mountian also wathcing the peak of another mountian.

The aerial view shows the terrain of the site. The different height and the lake could be easily distinguished. It also indicates the light and the shadow.

The chosen site is full of natural elements, mountians, lake, house, historical postroad, ect. This site has the potential that allows people to touch the nature in many diffenent ways.

The image shows the perspective of human height. It enable us to image the reality. The height from the lake to the peak of moutain is is displayed srtongly. Also seeing the outline of the terrain become easier.

There is a farm located in the site. It is such a family place in Haukaas area. Children have an oppotunity to be close to animals. Such a place has the potential to be a social platform for all ages, but not just for children.
