The secrets to makea good coffee

Espresso coffee is the italian favourite "~lfter dinner"drink, but is usually offered in any opportunity throu­ghout the day. The Espresso has to be prepared withbest attention and carefulness. If you want to keep tilearoma untouched, coffee must be ground just beforepreparation and at right milling. You have to stHve thomost important person first (on ttle contrary of the teaceremony). Espresso must be drunk very hot and ...seated down.

After having remo­ved the coffee-machine from its wrapping ensure that itis in good conditions. ln Case of doubt do not use themachine and call directly either the dealer or the manu­facturer. Packing materials (such as plastic sachets, car­ton box etc.) must not be left within reacll or children.

Just bought, tllO coffee percolatore has to be carefullywashed, 'absolutely avoidin9 detersivos and abrasiveproducts (you are recom­mended to uso simply waterand bicarbonate). You arealso recommended to prepa·re sorne coffees not to bedrunk to flavour the percola­tor.Never apply allY force t() thoglass part or lid.

Assembly: This coffee rnacl1ine must be used only forthe purpose for which it has been designed and pro­duced and must be currectly used accorciinD to the fol­lowing instructions. Before placing the coHee machineon a source of heat, check whether th('3ro are any par­ticular indici3tions. Put the coffee-mal~er on the heatand keep the flame as lower aspossible. Do not leave the coffee­maker on the heat after coffeebubbled out, to avoi.d the rubberwasher to be damaged.

In case of damage, change rubber washer to avoidleakages. Roplacement rTIust be effected by using asharp utensil (a knife blade, d scr()w-drive, etc): lift thedarnaf~ed washer from his seal and insert manuallythe new one by pression.

Use:• Fill the machine with water up to the lower level of the

working valve.- Ensure that the coffee machine is properly closed befo­

re using it.• While being used ensure that the closing lid is positio­

ned on the vane where the coffee is collected- It is advisable not to touch the closing/openingdevice

until the machine has cooled down,- Do not touch any hot surfaces, use handles and knobs• Never use the machine without any water inside the

boiler- In case the safety valve comes into operation, imme­

diately stop the preparation of the coffee, immediatelycool down the machine with a jet of water and call thedealer.
