SOCIAL NETWORKS ARE WEBSITES DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE TO CONNECT WITH OTHER PEOPLE.

FACEBOOK IS THE MOST POPULAR SOCIAL NETWORK AT WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY.

PUTTING COURSE INFORMATION IN FACEBOOK MEANS STUDENTS WILL INTERACT WITH IT MORE OFTEN.

MULTIMEDIA PROJECTS MAKE USE OF THE TECHNOLOGY WAKE FOREST PROVIDES ON STUDENT THINKPADS.

CREATING MULTIMEDIA PROJECTS ALLOWS STUDENTS TO HAVE MORE CREATIVE CONTROL OVER THEIR WORK.

IN EVALUATIONS, STUDENTS HAVE SAID THEY WERE MORE ENGAGED WITH A VIDEO PROJECT THAN A PAPER.

SMARTBOARDS ALLOW INSTRUCTORS TO ENGAGE STUDENTS MORE VISUALLY IN LECTURES AND ALLOW THE SAVING OF NOTES TAKEN ON THE BOARD.
