CheetahMail:

CheetahMail provides online marketing solutions that enable enterprises to optimize email communications. CheetahMail, an Experian company, is a data-driven email technology that enables clients to build relevant relationships and personalized communication with customers.

Pull Your Data from the Data Source:

Pull a CSV report from the CheetahMail platform to get all client data in one spreadsheet. Alternatively, you can provide a separate file per client. Edit this CSV document so it doesn’t contain empty cells and rename your columns as appropriate.

This is how the file template should be defined:

This sample file contains an example of the fields and formatting that Import Wizard will accept. You can also find example fields in the screenshot below. Notice that in the data range there are no empty fields, rows, or columns.

Import Wizard Options:

• Mapping: Mark the field ‘Client Name’ as ‘Use for Mapping’.• Unique Fields: Mark text fields like ‘Mailing Name,’ ‘Subject Line,’ and

‘Creative’ as ‘Unique’.• Date Ranges: Choose the ‘Date’ field as ‘Use for Date Range’.• Sent, Received, Bounced, Opens, Clicks, Open Rate By Sent Emails, CTR By

Opened Emails, Transactions, Amount, Unsubscriptions: Check the box under‘Is metric?’ to mark as ‘True’.

To Upload Data:

• Get the latest file from the source - Import Wizard files do not automatically pullfrom the source, but you can update your data as frequently as you need to buydownloading a CSV of the latest data.

• Make sure the file follows the template• Decide how this data will be delivered- Scheduled (FTP, SFTP, Google Drive,

Dropbox) or Manualo Scheduled Option

§ You will need to have access to an FTP, SFTP, Google Drive, orDropbox where your modified file will be stored.

§ Rename the file to indicate the current date. For example: If todayis / / , the file name should be ‘source_date_ - -

.csv’• Pro tip: make sure that the date format here matches the

date format on your Import Wizard tool. If you set it to YYYY-MM-DD, make sure that the file reads‘source_date_ - - .csv’

§ Upload the file in Google Drive, Dropbox, or FTP and set thelocation correctly in the Import Wizard setup page.

§ So long as the name-date of the file falls within the last days thefile will process.

o Manual Option§ Select this option if you only want to send data into the system as

needed.§ Go to Administration> Import Wizard and select Delivery type =

Manual

§ Load data into the appropriate Import Wizard definition forprocessing. You do not need an FTP, SFTP, Google Drive, orDropbox location enabled for manual delivery.

Process to Map Data:

• If you’ve setup your delivery method correctly, you will see an arrow appear onthe right hand side of the window.

• Clicking on that arrow will bring you to the Manage Services screen with a newtile for CheetahMail

• From here you follow the same steps you would for mapping a client.

Visualization:

Once the data is pulled into the database, build performance widgets in your dashboard or reports.

Any Changes Required:

If you need to make any modifications to the Import Wizard mapping for CheetahMail, you can do this by navigating to Administration>Import Wizard>Edit. Please note that due to data processing, only certain elements can be modified after data has started loading.
