MASK MAKING ACTIVITY

Mask making is one of the most enjoyable crafts that children can be engaged in. A Mask Making activity was organized for the students of Grades III-V to explore and encourage creativity in children and offer them a platform to show their artistic skills.

Music binds our soul, hearts and emotions. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. In fact, through singing children learn to express their feelings and ideas. To bring out the singing talent of the students an Inter Class Solo Song Competition was organized for the students of Grades VI and VII.

A poetry recitation activity was organised for the students of Kindergarten. Students participated in the activity with great enthusiasm and exhibited the best of their talents and abilities.

RAKHI MAKING ACTIVITY

POEM RECITATION

The holy thread of Rakhi is the symbol of love and affection between a brother and a sister. With the same feeling in their hearts, the students of Grades III-V took part in a Rakhi making activity. The children showcased their creativity by beautifully crafting and decorating Rakhis with a variety of material like mirrors, stickers, stars and glitters. Our students also made beautiful Rakhis for our brave soldiers who protect us day and night as a gesture of gratitude for their selfless service to the nation.

SCIENCE WEEK

BLUE DAY

The school celebrated Science Week from 22nd – 26th July to honor the role of Science and Technology in the modern day lives. The week was a success and was appreciated and enjoyed by all.

A Rhyme and Chime activity was organised for our tiny tots of Nursery. The children got an opportunity to showcase their talent and confidence.

ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

BANDS OF LOVE

Writing is nothing but thinking aloud on paper. To promote and nourish the love for writing, an Inter Class Essay Writing competition was organised for the students of Grades VI and VII.

A friend is someone you rely on after family. Friendship Day was celebrated on 2nd August by the pre-primary students with great enthusiasm. Students of Grade II made friendship bands which they called “Bands of Love” and exchanged them with their friends.

DIGITAL PAINTINGTo prepare the students for the digital and modern world, a Digital Painting competition on the theme Raksha Bandhan was organised for the students of Grades III-V.

HERITAGE QUIZ

To remember the importance of our rich culture and heritage, a GK Quiz was conducted for the students of Grades III-V on the theme “Heritage of India.”

INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day holds a special significance for the citizens of India.

To mark the importance of this special day, the school played host to a special assembly on 13th August. The celebrations started with the hoisting of the flag by the school Principal, Ms. Neelu Sharma followed by a beautiful patriotic song by Grades V and VII. Then students of Grades IV and VI performed a dance drama that brought out the patriot in every member of the audience. The assembly culminated with a walk through by our students of Grade I and II, dressed as national leaders. The whole school reverberated with patriotic fervour.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS

FIT INDIA MOVEMENT

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched the fitness movement on 29th August 2019 on the occasion of National Sports Day, the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand.

Students joined the live telecast and also took a pledge to commit themselves to fitness.

Indian culture is known for its diversity and varied mythology. To make the children understand the importance of our rich Indian tradition, Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated on 26th August 2019. The tiny tots came dressed as Krishna and Radha and danced to beautiful Krishna renditions.

Our students brought laurels to the school by winning medals in the Sub-Junior category in the Ist Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Memorial Shooting Championship held at Muzzafar Nagar. The winning team comprised of:1. Tanishak Janghu ---- Silver Medal & Team Silver2. Moksh Rastogi ---- Bronze Medal3. Dhruv Janghu ---- Team Silver

EXPRESSION OF LOVE

We believe that children learn better through play. To develop colour recognition and activate cognitive development of our tiny tots, we celebrated Green Colour Day.

Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 5th September. Students from Toddlers to Grade VII showcased their love and gratitude for their teachers by making beautiful cards for them. It was a pleasure to see the pride on the faces of teachers as their students presented them with cards and decorated the classrooms for them. They blessed their students and wished them well.

HINDI DIWAS

To highlight the importance of black and white colour, Nursery celebrated Black and White Colour Day. Students came dressed in black and white clothes along with their teachers. They were able to differentiate between the colors physically as well as figuratively.

Teachers decorated the classroom with black and white balloons and thechildren did an activity of making a panda with cut outs.

To commemorate the glorious language Hindi, we celebrated Hindi Diwas in school. In keeping with the tradition, students performed activities like poetry recitation, doha writing, slogan writing and show and tell to honour this beautiful language.

Our young learners from Pre-primary became Little Chefs and tried their hand in preparing a meal WITHOUT fire! Out tiny tots enjoyed making, eating and sharing the delicious meal with their friends.

TALENT SHOW

A talent show was organised for Grades I and II. The artistic talent of the students was on display which kept the audience spellbound. The students painted and coloured with extreme care and precision. The colourful activity was enjoyed by both the students and the teachers.
