target3. Non-pharmacological management of type

2 diabetes4. IDF Clinical practice recommendations for

type 2 diabetes5. Pharmacological management: Blood

glucose-lowering medicines6. Pharmacological management: Insulin

therapy7. Diabetes T1 and T2 in pregnancy8. Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM)

Complementary modulesEarn one extra CME credit, on on completion of each of the IDF Short Courses- Prevention of Type 2 Diabetes- Diabetic Retinopathy- Diabetes & CVD

Course duration:The course should be completed within 6 months of the date of enrolment.

Module duration:~60 Minutes per module (excluding webcasts and additional reading)

Assessment and criteria- Completion of all course modules- Final Assessment (50 multiple choice

questions, within 1hour)

Certification- “Certificate of Achievement, EACCME

and CPD Points” & Transcript (score of 80% or above in the final assessment)

- “Certificate of Participation & EACCME and CPD Points (score of less than 80% in the final assessment)
