• Two portable 1.2 m antennas and IPSTAR user terminals served as the only communication tool for rescue operations

• IPSTAR service deployed in heart of Christchurch within 3 hours of the disaster by Farmside, under request from NZ Fire Services
• Another setup was done at Halswell @ command center of volunteer search and rescue operation team LandSAR.
Emergency Communications During South Thailand Floods, 2010
• A tropical depression caused flooding in 11 out of 14 Southern provinces in November, 2010.
• Total of 400 BTS Stations out of operation.• IPSTAR joined forces with AIS to provide Femtocell +
WiFi + VoIP service using Mobile VSAT Vehicle.• Deployment in Hat Yai and Park Mark of Surat Thani.• Service used by local population as well as security
and rescue personnel.
