JANUARY Monday 3 ICCS office is closed for the New Year’s Holidays and will re-open on January 4. Tuesday 4 Italian Ladies Club Monthly meeting at 9:30 am. Special guest: the Consul General of Italy, Francesco de Conno will meet for the first time with the Italian Ladies Club. Friday 7 ICC Festa della Befana! In the Ballroom at 7:00 pm. Celebrate with the whole family! There will be exciting children’s entertainment and activities. Monday 10 Italian Movie Night beginning at 7:00 pm in the museum - FREE ADMISSION La ragazza del lago (Molaioli, 2007): North of Italy, in modern times. The corpse of a young girl is found beside an alpine lake. Sanzio, a middle aged police officer, is put in charge of the investigation. He is nearing the end of his career, and has an ill wife, who is no longer able to recognize him. In the apparently quiet town, Sanzio, persecuted by his family troubles, will find a problematic truth and discover more than he could expect. He shares a room with Domenico, a crafty barber from Naples. After several unsuccessful efforts, Nello meets Angela, an exuberant, beautiful young blind girl with whom he falls hopelessly in love. He ignores everyone and shows no emotions at all. Yet, it seems he is waiting for something mysterious and intangible. One day, breaking all his rules, he decides to exchange some words with Sofia, the hotel's barmaid. Then everything changes. Emotions, love, crime, death burst violently into Titta's life.
