MEMO
TO: Humboldt County Commissioners SUBJECT: Budget Revisions and
Augmentations DATE: 6/20/2016 This current fiscal year Humboldt
County had no funds that required augmentation. One Special
District (McDermitt Sewer) needed augmentation to their final
budget in the amount of $15,000. Because they are a proprietary
fund no formal notice to the State Tax Department is required per
NRS 354.598005. I just have to report this on their next quarterly
economic survey. They are approving this at their meeting on June
20th. I needed to do three budget revisions this year. I moved
$3,000 from Other General Government to Rural Street Lights to
cover the over expenditure. This is the only department that has a
function of public works in the General Fund. I did a budget
revision to the 911 Enhancement Fund moving $110,000 from services
and supplies to transfer to other funds for their share of the GPS
mapping project. I did a revision to the Library Memorial Fund
moving $27,520 from services and supplies to transfer to other
funds to move donations to the Library Fund for the purchase of the
new bookmobile.
