There were a number of Russian and Ukrainian clients walking around the show, with several from this group making offers to buy yachts. The finest yacht on display at the Monaco Show was the 78.4 Meter ( 257 Ft.) Lurssen built MADSUMMER. Positioned in the Moran Yacht & Ship display at the show, the vessel was of a distinctly higher quality than any other yacht displayed. One of the clients that inspected the yacht, the well known yachtsman Herb Chambers, who is currently building a 206 Ft. Abeking & Rasmussen, stated that MADSUMMER was the finest yacht he had ever been onboard. Outside of the Monaco show, several vessels in the 50m - 70m range have sold recently. Among those sold were the 195 ft. (59m) Lürssen built OASIS, the 197 ft. (60m) Feadship PARAFFIN the 231 ft. (70m) Amels BOADICEA , and the 70 Meter Perini Navi MALTESE FALCON. Brokerage sales for the medium size range of yachts have been extremely busy registering 8 sales including a 75 ft. Sunseeker MASSIMO, 80 ft. Hatteras ANGEL Wings, 82 ft. Moran Yacht & Ship are pleased to announce that a deal was signed on a 68m (223 ft.) new build during the show. This represents the largest vessel sold at the 2009 boat show. Additionally, a great deal of interest was generated for all of our brokerage yachts. On the charter side we are pleased to announce that several Caribbean charters were booked during the show.
All in all, it was a very successful boat show for Moran Yacht & Ship!

There are two additional day heads; one on the main deck just aft of the master suite forward and one in the sky lounge.
