Daily DivingQualified divers will be spoilt for choice here. There are hundreds of dive centres here and most dive sites are reachable by boat in under an hour. Half day and full day trips are usually available – ask your local dive centre for details. Don’t forget to take your certification card, logbook and insurance information with you.

Diving SafarisLiving aboard a safari boat offers you the freedom to make up to four dives a day, often at remote dive sites that are inaccessible to daily dive boats. Regular departures are available with a wide choice of itineraries north and south, and trips lasting for 1/2 nights up to a week or more. If you’re a qualified diver who wants to eat, breathe and sleep diving, a diving safari is highly recommended.

Learn to DiveCrystal clear warm waters and some of the best diver training facilities in the world makes the Red Sea the perfect place to experience your first exhilarating breaths underwater. The lifeline of EgyptThe River Nile is the longest river in the world at 6670km. Throughout history, Egypt’s entire civilisation has depended on this river and most of the country’s population still live in the Nile valleys.

Travel to Cairo / LuxorGenerally tourists visiting Luxor must join an organised tour – contact your tour rep or hotel for

details. Coach services are available to Cairo and the travel time is around six hours. Egyptair runs a regular flight service several times a day and the flight from Hurghada to Cairo is around one hour.

Travel to Sharm El SheikhA speed catamaran service links Hurghada and Sharm and the trip takes around two hours. If you are travelling on Saturday, Sunday and Monday you might be lucky enough to get a ticket for the new Egyptair flights cutting your travel time down to around 40 minutes.
