… but now we can remember everything

Page 4: How we cope with changing technology

“intellectual laziness”“weakening their minds” – Hieronimo Squarciafico

… or can it be used to strengthen our minds?

Page 6: How we cope with changing technology

“stop listening to our senses and start obeying the clock”

1462

Page 7: How we cope with changing technology

… don’t we use time as a control to synchronize our lives?

Page 8: How we cope with changing technology

“Are cell phones making us anti-social?”

“Fauxting – pretending to text for the sake of just avoiding other people and

Page 9: How we cope with changing technology

… have we ever been this connected?

Page 10: How we cope with changing technology

But maybe we can treat it as a new skill to add to our repertoire or as new tool to aid us

Page 12: How we cope with changing technology

Alone …

… or together?

Page 14: How we cope with changing technology

So when asked these questions, like: Does Google make us stupid?

Page 15: How we cope with changing technology

Or: Does Facebook make us lonely?

Page 16: How we cope with changing technology

Shouldn’t we see Google as a tool?

Page 17: How we cope with changing technology

Or Facebook as our network?

Page 18: How we cope with changing technology

Maybe the answer is in how we treat the technology. Anything can be treated as an addiction.

Page 19: How we cope with changing technology

But if we find balance and ways to use these tools to

our advantage we can avoid the addiction

“Change can be scary, but you know what’s scarier? Allowing fear to stop you

from growing, evolving and progressing.” – Many Hale
