The supplier is Kacang Kacang Pte Ltd. The company’s policy is to track every job cost. 2. Go to Menu Bar -> Lists -> Jobs to create a new job code. 3. Click New to create the new Jobs : Job A & Job B

HOW TO USE JOB COSTING?
For every individual journal entry posted in MYOB Premier, a job can be assigned at
the invoice line item. A Job code may be used to track:
1) Income and expenses related to a specific job / project
2) Monitoring and tracking the progress of a job / project
1. Assume Kacang Putih Pte Ltd has a Purchase order of 20 quantities of A001 at
$5.00 each for Job A and 5 quantities of A001 at $8.00 each for Job B on 12/06/2014.
The supplier is Kacang Kacang Pte Ltd. The company’s policy is to track every job cost.
2. Go to Menu Bar -> Lists -> Jobs to create a new job code.
3. Click New to create the new Jobs : Job A & Job B

7. To view the transactions listed under a job, go to Menu Bar -> Index to Reports ->
Accounts Tab -> Jobs -> Job Transactions. Click Display.

8. . You may also generate a Profit & Loss Report based on Jobs. Go to Menu Bar ->
Index to Reports -> Accounts Tab -> Jobs -> Profit & Loss
Click Customise to select the date period then click Display.
