Evaluating Questions – C Sources

Always examine/study/read the C source first.

When carrying this out consider the following;

1. What is the title of the C source? 2. What is on the X/Y axis of the graph? 3. What is the survey about? 4. What does the bar graph/line

graph/survey etc. show?

Evaluating Questions – A/B Sources

After examining/studying the relevant C sources go and read the related written source A or B.

When reading consider look for a quote that is related to the information you have found in C source.

“To what extent” question – part of the quote will be supported by the C source and part of it will be opposed by the C source.

“Exaggeration” question – this quote will over state the case and the evidence from the C Source will show this to be the case.
