Our target market will be gamers mostly aged 13 years and up as many gamers are 20+. It will be gender neutral as (despite popular belief) 36%-52% of gamers are female. This being considered we have decided to target both ganders to increase sales.

Introduction

The purpose of this presentation is to promote our business idea; this is to start a video game store named Gaming Central. It will located in Canterbury next to the Mc Donald's. This is a prime location in Canterbury and will bring us lots of customers. We believe that the variety of stock we sell will attract a lot of gamers and the fact that we will buy bulk means that we can keep our consumer prices low. We will be financially sponsored by Valve in return for selling their games and advertising the company and allowing them to be a shareholder.

Advertising

A majority of our advertising will be internet based and we will pay for them to be displayed on gaming related sites. We will also have posters stuck on the walls around Canterbury. This second method will be cheaper than internet ads but will also increase sales.

PricesAs always games will cost different prices so we cant list all prices but we can list discounts:£5-£10 10% £51-£100 35%£11-£20 20%£21-£30 25%£31-£40 30%£41-£50 35%

These will be our normal discounts and will last from the 10th to the 17th of each month with a added 10% off during Christmas holidays and the last 10 days of each season.We believe that these regular discounts will encourage buyers as they will know when to come to get good deals and will increase renown.
