Summer vacation is a welcome break….Break from fixed schedules, rules and regulations of the school. Freedom brings more
responsibility, so keeping this in mind; we have planned most of the
activities to keep our children engaged and also help them in
channelizing their energies. Kindly help and guide your child in
completing his work and also exploring his creative self.
Submit the given homework on 26.06.18 between 8.30 a.m. TILL
10.00 a.m. Adhere to the submission timings. Kindly take the print
outs of the sheets. School will reopen on 02.07.18.

HOW INDEPENDENT CAN I BECOME? Make your child more independent by teaching him or her
various activities like
Buttoning and unbuttoning the shirt.
Laying the table.
Folding mats andclothes.
Arranging their toyshelf.
Learning to wear shoes andsocks.
Learning how to zip their school bag and
their uniform.(shorts)
Good manners and good habits are life long assets
and they should be practiced until they become habit. Revise the
four magical words: PLEASE, SORRY, THANK YOU and EXCUSE
ME which we have learned as the part of basics of good manners
.Make these four magical words a habit and see the difference.
TASK:
1. Take out the coloured print outs of attached jigsaw puzzles
related to above mentioned magical words.
2. Paste it on a A-4 size pastel sheet and cut it along the given
lines.
3. Let your ward solve it and enjoy!!!!!
FUN WITH READING AND STORY NARRATION.
Books are the chief medium of imparting knowledge and education
to the kids. The books are the window to their perfect
understanding of different topics. To enhance their knowledge and
reading skills make your child learn any one storyfrom the
following:
Hungry Caterpillar
Smartest Giant in town
Monkey Puzzle
The tiny seed.
HYGIENE
To inculcate the following healthy habits;
Brush your teeth twice aday.
Trim your nails regularly.
Do not waste water andelectricity.
Keep your surroundings and environment clean. It is a bad habit to
throw things out of the windows, car orbalcony. Throw the litter in
the dustbin.
Capture the pictures of your ward while doing good habits such as brushing teeth,
combing hair, trimming nails, hand wash before & after meals, helping others, watering
plants etc. Make a collage of those pictures on A-3 size white Ivory sheet and get it
laminated for the tablemat.
Kindly help your ward in doing the following pages from the respective

Revise phonics regularly.
Practice letters c,a,o,d,g,q in four lines pattern in practice note
book.(2 pages of each letter)(kindly focus on the formations)
Do practice of swar in five lines pattern in practice note book. (2
pages of each swar done in class).
Revise the concept of after ,before and between numbers and
practice numbers 1 to 60 in maths practice note book.(2 pages of
each concept and counting.)(start writing the number from the centre
of the box and touch the bottom line of the box)

5. Spend some time for English conversation with your
ward and add some new vocabulary which enables
them to frame simple sentences.
6. Go to the garden with your friend and
explore the names of theride
7. Encourage your ward to make a card for father’s day i.e. on 17th june’18.
8. Engage your child in small household activities like
filling water bottles, gardening etc.
