Each spring, Yale Pathways to Science hosts a one-day event called Pathways to Engineering for local middle school students. Throughout the day, students have the opportunity to tour Yale University’s engineering facilities and do hands-on activities in each laboratory. A local New Haven middle school student learns how to create microparticles from natural materials in the Saltzman Lab at Yale’s Malone Engineering Center.
