Why They Need Our Help?
Receives no direct funding from the federal government or the state of Kentucky
Relies on donations of money, supplies, and in-kind services from individuals, service providers, and their corporate partners
How You Can Donate?

Those interested in supporting our lifesaving work may also donate vehicles and securities, or make in-kind donations.

Can You Visit Them? The Primate Rescue Center
is not open to the public They strive to ensure that
the animals under their care live in as stress-free an environment as possible
However, they do host a single-day, invitation-only open house each spring for members and supporters, which gives them the opportunity to witness firsthand how their donations are being used To become get

Can You Volunteer at the PRC?
They have a very active and robust volunteer program
Some of their volunteers work onsite, where they help with everything from general maintenance to preparing the animals’ food and keeping their office running smoothly
Other volunteers, who are unable to make a weekly time commitment, may perform off-site computer work or represent the Center at special events.
They also have a program for out-of-towners who want to live on-site while putting in 40-hour workweeks

About the Annual Member Event
This event is a unique day for the sanctuary, because they open our doors to all PRC members who would like to visit and see how their support is making an important impact on the lives of their primate residents
They rely heavily on their Special Event Volunteers to help them make this event a success with many different duties
If you wish to volunteer during this event please email their Volunteer Coordinator, Melanie Parker at [email protected]
