Unfortunately, the glorious weath- er seems to have come to and end for now but hopefully you are all finding new ways to keep busy and have fun indoors when it is too wet to go outside! Miss Warner has enjoyed a cosy weekend at home, watching her favourite Disney mov- ies along with baking chocolate chip and banana muffins! Last weekend, Miss Wor- ley made the most of the weather and enjoyed a walk in the beautiful village of Berkswell. This week, we have been working really hard to prepare for the return of the Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children. We are looking forward to welcoming them back to school. For all of you who are continuing to learn at home, please keep up the hard work and don’t forget to send in your photographs! Daniella has been having a fantastic and fun time at home with her family! Along with reading lots with her mom and dad, she has been getting adventurous outdoors. She was lucky enough to go pond dipping locally. Ap- parently Daniella is rather skilled when it comes to catching tadpoles (please remem- ber not to scare Miss Warner with a photo when they grow into the inevitable!) She al- so found leeches, bloodworms, water fleas, water boatmen and larvae...how exciting! Daniella and her sister have also been get- ting creative and enjoyed making animal masks which goes towards earning the Brownie Cayman Island badge! Finally, as if things couldn’t get any more exciting, she also lost her 5th tooth! Wow, what a week!

Tom has been working hard to complete his home learning packs. He enjoyed last week’s work on Harry Potter and even typed up his broomstick lesson sto-ry. Attached is a photo of the time Tom, Jake and Eva were lucky enough to
have a real broomstick lesson at Alnwick Castle in Northumberland where some of the Harry Potter scenes were filmed! What a fantastic photo, it looks like
you had a truly wizarding time!
Angus and Phoebe have been getting extremely crea-tive at home! Keeping to their gardening/nature theme, they have reclaimed an old rusty bin, decorated it in the style of Banksy and are growing potatoes in it alongside
their vegetable patch. Wow, you should both be very proud of yourselves for this fantastic work!
Jessica has been learning about weather and climate . She has conducted her own
science experiment which in-volved making clouds...wow,
how interesting! She also re-searched all about the dif-ferent climates around the world and has even made a
weather fortune teller!
A Peek at the Week
Due to the continuation of school closures, packs will continue to be sent out every Monday with the intention of day 1 being completed on Tuesday.
For Maths this week, children will continue to follow the White Rose Maths home learning packs where videos can be accessed to support learning at the following links: https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-3/, https://whiterosemaths.com/
homelearning/year-4/. For English this week, children will continue to work from the Hamilton Trust home
