“First, what should be the characteristics of persons in the SaiOrganisation?
Their hearts should be cool like the moon. Their minds should be pure like
butter. Their speech should be sweet like honey. It is only when you have a heart
cool as the moon, mind pure as butter and speech sweet as honey, will you be
worthy member of the Organisation. When these three qualities are present,
there will be Divinity.”

SRI SATHYA SAI SEVA ORGANISATION, HARYANA &
CHANDIGARH
Annual Report From 01-04-2016 to 31-03-2017
With the Showers of Divine Grace Sri SathyaSaiSevaOrganisation, Haryana &
Chandigarh came into being in the year 1975 on the auspicious occasion of
Bhagwan Baba’s 50th
Birthday, has now 59 Simithies and 81 BhajanMandlies(
Total 140 ) with a membership of 5614 and 4244) (Total 9858. They belong to
various section of the society irrespective of their religion, colour, caste or creed.
All enthusiastically participate in the activities of the organization under its three
wings undertaken at village Samithi, BM, District & State level. It has active
3909+80 workers i.e. 2164 Gents and 1825 Ladies, as per detail given against each
respective Column in Annexure –I.
Spirtual Wing: The Purpose of the Wing “ Seeing unity in diversity is divinity
and Spirituality. The study of Scriptures, performing rituals, doing worship, etc.
does not signify true spirituality. Recognizing the unity of the Atmicprinciple
is true spirituality. When we realize this unity , we will earn divine grace. We
always chant, ‘SAI RAM ‘,‘SAI RAM ‘,‘SAI RAM ‘, but this alone will not
develop devotion in us. We should imbibe the spirit of unity and chant the
divine name to develop true devotion. If we have even a trace of true
devotion, we should do good to others and live in harmony with them.
Extending humbleness &loving service to all. If we have love and faith, We
will develop whole hearted co-operation and strengthen non-violence. Only
then we can experience eternal bliss- our inherent nature , and the very nature
of the DIVINE.” This is rather more clear in swamy’s words “ Hands that serve
are holier than the lips that pray.
“ You are eating an apple. Is it for the benefit of the apple, that you are eating
it? No, it is for your own health !similarly your actions, worship or meditation
is only for your own happiness and satisfaction. The only thing God cares for is
purity and steadfastness. Purity in thought, word and actions is all that matters
to God.”
