Week 1: This anime is called Parasite. It is about a deadly alien creature that takes over its host and eats their hosts species. One man gets infected but stops the parasite from taking over. The parasite lives in his hand now, and he named it Migi. Now he has to fight the hosts of other aliens who have been taking over. What will become of the main character and Migi? Will he die and a new charac-ter arise? If he kills all the aliens, what will he do to his hand? Watch this anime and find out.

Hunter X Hunter is about a kid named Gon who is chasing after his father Ging, a 3 star hunter. A hunter is someone who does darring tasks that no one would ever do. More people want a hunter license than stars in the sky. A 1 star hunter is someone who passed the hunter exam, a 2 star is someone important in a business, and a 3 star hunter is someone who has discovered something. His father Ging set the most difficult task up for gon, find him. This anime is about fighting mosters and people with gon as the star.

THE MAN

Once upon a time, there was a very happy man in is hometown. He thought he couldn’t be happier. One afternoon his mother spoke to him and she said, “I do not want to worry you, but we have very little money. I almost cannot afford to feed you, your nine siblings, and your father. I do not know what we are going to do, but I just wanted to let you know.” The man decided he would go to a land in search of a job to earn money to send back to his family. On the night before he left to this land, his mother prayed for him, his father hugged him tight, and his nine siblings all crowded around him hugging him tight before he went off to his journey at the crack of dawn. Later in bed that night, the man lay awake thinking of the journey to be. He would miss his hometown very much, but he had to take care of his family.

At the crack of dawn, his mother was already up putting what ever food she could find into a picnic basket. The man began to get ready to leave. He did not have much, but the most important thing to him was a picture of his whole family. His siblings were still asleep. He walked into their room and kissed each of them on the forehead. He did not know if he would ever see them again. When it was time to leave, his mother hugged him once more and told him that no matter what, she was proud to call him her son.

As the man started his journey, he knew he would hang on to those words for a long time to come. The man walked for a very long time until he came across a river filled with man-eating fish. The man made a boat out of a dead tree he found and sailed across the river. When he had already crossed the river, he begin to walk again.

The man had walked for a very long time when he decided to rest for the night. He found an empty place on the ground and fell asleep. When the man awoke, he ate some of the food his mom had packed him. Then, he started walking again. The man came across an ocean and made another sailboat out of a dead tree and started sailing. The man had been sailing for some time when he saw an island. He docked the boat and got off. The man started to explore until he found a rather large village. He entered the village and started walking around. He saw a sign for a business that built houses and entered to see if they had an open space for him to work.

CHAPTER ONE

As the man entered the office, he talked to the store owner about getting a job there. The store owner thought about it for a minute before agreeing. The man was so thankful for this chance. The next day, the man awoke at sunrise. He went to the shop which was already opened and asked for the store owner. The store owner drove him to a house they were building. It was a rather large house with two stories. The store owner showed him everything he knew.

The man sent money home to his family every time he got a paycheck. One warm evening, the man had a wonderful idea. He decided he would bring his whole family to this island, so he wrote a letter to his mother explaining this idea. About a month later, his mother had responded. She thought it was a great idea. They missed him very much over there, so his whole family came. They faced the same problems he had, but they were there with him.

The man married with his whole family there and one-by-one so did his siblings. The man showed his brothers everything he knew about building houses and his sisters made a living by cleaning houses. The man was now happier then he had ever been. He had children and so did his siblings. He was happy that he had found a better life for his family. He now makes a lot of money. Although now with nephews and nieces and a few grandchildren, his whole family still has conflicts with each other but they are a great family.

I am proud to be in his family. The man is my uncle; he came all those years ago to give my dad and his whole family a better life. And for that I am grateful.

!Who would you pick: Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota? As we all know, both of these quarterbacks have a starting position. Jameis Winston was picked 1st in the draft

because of his arm strength, size, and footwork. Marcus Mariota was picked 6th because of his height, weight, and is mentally and physically ready for the NFL. ! On the field, Jameis Winston is an obvious pick... but off the field Jameis Winston is a whole new person. While he was in college on November 25th, 2012, a woman called 911 to report that there are two men on the Florida State University campus with what appeared to be a long barrel pistol. When the police arrived, Jameis and his friend claims that they were shooting at squirrels with pellet guns. They were released without charges, but there are countless other cases against Winston. ! Marcus Mariota is is a whole different person compared to Jameis. For one, he is quiet, humble, and family oriented. He also helps others in need. ! Could this become another Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck where the 2nd pick is better than the #1? Or could this be a whole new story. ! In week 1, the Titans won against the Buccaneers 42-14. Marcus Mariota threw 209 yds with 4 TDs and completed 13/16 passes. Jameis Winston threw 210 yds with 2 TDs. ! Who do you think is better? Writers choice - Van: Marcus Mariota - AJ:Jameis Winston - Who do you agree with?
