PRESIDENT UNIVERSITY STUDENT HOUSING | FINAL PROJECT

President University is one of the growing private university that in-terests many people, especially the upper middle class because of its good credibility and its college facilities are very adequate. The development of this course must be accompanied by the increasing in the quality of the facilities in President University. One of it is the student dormitory.

Dormitory facility has the main objective in providing housing for students, especially for students who live far away from campus. This dormitory should be able to support the process of socializa-tion, adaptation and academic achievement of the students. PORT

ANALYSIS

CONCEPT

The concept of this design is to create a functional space for the students by separating the private-public area and making space hierarchy along and inside the building. These separation helps people and residents to identified the area easily.

The building mass represents the concept, the form of building shows each space between buildings.

This building is located in industrial area Jababeka, Bekasi. The scenery outside the site is not quite good, as a conclusion the scenery was oriented into the site. That’s why, the design is focusing on creating comfortable spaces inside and between the building.

e SIMPANG LIMA INTERCHANGE STATION | FOURTH YEAR

This interchange station describe the flow of transpor-tation nowadays, w h i c h i s v e r y m o b i l e . T h i s s t a t i o n c o n n e c t s t h r e e k i n d o f transporta-tion; Monorail, Subway and Cabs/Buses. The desi gn of this station represent its mobility with its dynamic designs and wide open space for people. Located in one of the crowded place in Bandung, this station can be the central mean of transportation in this town, which can make people travel easier from South to North and vice versa.

VETERAN MIXED USE BUILDING | THIRD YEAR

Veteran Mix Use Building is one of the building that provide commercial and office needs in Bandung. Locatedin strate-gic place, this building brings a different sight from its exterior existing - combining the retail stores and space to work for people around its area. Flexibility is the com-mon issue of mix use building - for people and also for the employee. We choose the core systems for circulation and service, to simplify the m o b i l i t y o f most people nowadays

This school’s design represent the freedom of the childhood. With the big open space in the middle of these three buildings, allowed the students to enjoy the natural environment around them. Using most of natural color and a touch of a contrast colour in one of the wall, makes this building has a g o o d a c c e n t f o r c h i l d r e n ’ s e y e s .

SHELTER AT INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG | SECOND YEAR

This shelter was designed for an academic assignment in my second year in college. We have to designed a shelter inside campus’ area, which is fit to, approximately 16 m2. Each student have to submit two different design of shelter. For my design I choose these two alternatives, because each of them represents different kind of wooden structure and facade.

Making sketches and watercolor drawings are the activies that I would like to do in the spare time. I mostly draw people and other living things.

These picture was made by pencil sketches then colored by sakura watercolor paintings, in B5 paper.

By the end of the semester, we have to do a final project for this subject, making the new pattern for the textile and then create a product from it.
