HAMILTON-C1
We live for ventilation technology. Technology that helps caregivers improve the lives of their criticallyill patients. We believe that innovation is essential to meet the demands of critical care. To us,innovation is about realizing visionary new ideas and continuously improving existing products, alwaysmaintaining the focus on safe, individualized ventilation, as well as ease of use.
We learn from our customers and from multi-disciplinary experts. And we invest in long-term researchand development. We develop Intelligent Ventilation solutions: devices and consumables for theventilation of all critically ill patients – from neonates to adults.

HAMILTON-C1
Requiring only a minimum of space, theHAMILTON-C1 mechanical ventilator combinesinvasive and noninvasive modes as well as highflow oxygen therapy with maximum mobility. Theintegrated high-performance turbine enables theHAMILTON-C1 to be completely independentfrom compressed air. This makes it an idealcompanion for all patient groups in the intensivecare unit, emergency ward, recovery room orintermediate care as well as in long-term acutecare facilities and during intrahospital transport.
Adult, pediatric, and neonatal ventilation
More than 4 hours of battery operating time
Independence from gas cylinders orcompressors
Noninvasive ventilation and integrated highflow oxygen therapy
Advanced ventilation modes, including ASV®
- Adaptive Support Ventilation
Meet the HAMILTON-C1
The high-performance turbine enables the HAMILTON-C1 mechanical ventilator to be completelyindependent from compressed air, and its integrated high-capacity battery allows you to ventilate yourpatients during intrahospital transport without the need for an external power source. The compactdesign of the HAMILTON-C1 mechanical ventilator makes handling much easier.
Compact and convenient for transport
HAMILTON-C1
In close cooperation with users and ventilationexperts, our engineers have designed a userinterface that is particularly intuitive. Switchingbetween the HAMILTON-C1 and all other HamiltonMedical ventilators is easy because they are alloperated according to the same principles.
The Ventilation Cockpit on the HAMILTON-C1consolidates the monitoring data and displays it asintuitive graphics. These provide a quick overviewof the patient’s current ventilation status andprovide a reliable basis for therapy decisions.
Small but mighty! Despite its compact size, theHAMILTON-C1 is a fully featured ventilator for usein almost any environment.

Ease of use
HAMILTON-C1
1 Main monitoring parametersAll of the main monitoring parameters at aglance. The large characters allow you to seethem even from a distance.
2 Dynamic Lung One quick look shows you tidal volume, lungcompliance, patient triggering, and resistance inreal-time. The lungs expand and contract insynchrony with the actual breaths.
3 Vent StatusThe Vent Status panel displays six parametersrelated to the patient’s dependence on theventilator. When all values are in the weaningzone, the panel is framed in green, indicating thatspontaneous breathing trials or extubation can beconsidered.
4 Direct access to main controlsAccess and adjust the most important controls forthe current mode directly on the main display.
The Ventilation Cockpit
The HAMILTON-C1 combines invasive and noninvasive modes as well as high flow oxygen therapy withmaximum mobility.
Adaptive, lung-protective ventilation with ASVSupports the earliest possible spontaneous breathing by the patient1, 2
Shortens the ventilation time in various patient groups1, 2
High-performance noninvasive ventilation (NIV)Integrated high-performance turbine supplies a peak flow rate of up to 260 l/minOptimal performance is ensured even with large leaks
Integrated high flow oxygen therapyReduces the need for intubation3
Lowers the risk of reintubation within 72 hours4
Speaking valveGives your patients a voiceCan be used in pressure-controlled modes (PCV+, PSIMV+, SPONT)

For use in any situation
HAMILTON-C1
Adaptive Support Ventilation (ASV)adjusts respiratory rate, tidal volume, and inspiratory time continuously, depending on the patient’s lung mechanics and effort. ASV adapts ventilationbreath-by-breath, 24 hours a day, and from intubation to extubation.
High-performance noninvasive ventilation (NIV)is enabled by the ventilator’s integrated high-performance turbine and peakflow rate of up to 260 l/min. Optimal flow delivery is ensured even in theevent of large leaks.
Integrated high flow oxygen therapycan be applied using the same device and breathing circuit, simply bychanging the patient interface. Active humidification is recommended forgreater patient comfort. With the optional integrated high flow oxygentherapy, the ventilator offers you a range of ventilation and therapy options inone device.
Speaking valveis an optional feature enabling the use of conventional speaking valves inpressure-controlled modes (PCV+, PSIMV+, SPONT). Monitoring, triggering, and alarm management have been adjusted to allow their use.
