For the cover photo I wanted the model to have curly hair. This is because a lot of the background photos you see on cover photos and photos within the magazine, have a model with curly hair. I chose this style of hair because I am keen on having a female as the cover of my magazine. By having a female as the artist, it is easier to get pop style photos because of their long hair. I looked at keeping the hair simple and natural because this look is still effective and easy to recreate.

MAKE-UP…

I explored make-up for the photos that I will include in my magazine. I liked the look of all these styles which are all similar. I wanted to have a makeup look that makes the eye look bigger so on the cover the attention is drawn to the eyes and artist it not washed out. I liked the golden glitter look as it is common in female artists cover photos. This look is very glamorous which suits the personality of most pop music artists very well.
