• Pollution is when water, air or land become very dirty.

• Pollution can come in 4 different types effecting different types of areas in the world.

• An air pollutant is known as a substance in the air that can cause harm to humans and the environment.

• Pollutants can be in the form of solid particles, liquid droplets, or gases.

• Air pollution is released into the atmosphere of any substances, chemical, or airborne particles which are harmful both to the human and animal health as well as the health of wider environment.

Causes1. Smoke from

chimneys of factories

2. Smoke from vehicles

3. Smoke from burning of fire

Prevention

• We should share vehicles for going to office

• We should get a regular pollution check of our vehicle

• Many causes of water pollution including sewage and fertilizers contain nutrients such as nitrates and phosphates.

• In excess levels, nutrients over stimulate the growth of aquatic plants and algae.

• When the sediments various bodies of water, fish and other marine life respiration becomes impaired.

• Excessive growth of these types of organisms consequently clogs our waterways, use up dissolved oxygen as they decompose, and block light to deeper waters.

• Many fish or other marine life cannot survive when oxygen levels drop below two to five parts per million.

Cause

1. Factories throw their waste in water bodies

2. People bath and wash cloth in water bodies

3. Some oil ships drown in water which hardly effects the aquatic life

4. Smoke from vehicles lets the river to dry

Prevention

1. Factories should not throw their waste in water bodies.

2. People should not bathe and wash clothes in rivers or lakes.

3. People should not take their animals to bathe in rivers or lakes.

• The machines used in factories make noise throughout the day, and this disturbs the peaceful atmosphere in the vicinity, as machines used without proper covering lead to sound pollution.

• This puts heavy mental strain on the people staying in the nearby areas. Noise is the most pervasive pollution in America.

2. Factories should be built out of the city
