ThreadingHolders
Sumitomo Electric has developed "TME" external threadinginserts
with pitch ranges of 1,0 ~ 3,0 mm or 10 ~ 24threads/ inch and "TMI"
internal threading inserts with a pitchrange of 1,0 ~ 3,0 mm.
The superior features of the new sintered threading
insertsinclude an M-class tolerance and dimple shaped chip
breaker.The M-class tolerance reduces insert cost by eliminating
theneed for expensive grinding.
Furthermore, chip control is greatly improved as a result of
thespecially designed dimple chip breakers.

multiple-layercoating. This design results inimproved toughness
andadhesion resistance making thisgrade suitable for stainlesssteel
and general steel.
T130AThe T130A is a cermet grade containing high TiN with
auniform fine-grain microstructure which results in improvedwear
resistance and toughness. Thus, the T130A produces a goods surface
finish.
