It has qualities that will protect the environment. It has replaced artificial ingredients with natural
ingredients. There are no legal guidelines or strict definitions for
use of the term, so it is subject to interpretation. For example A cleaning product may be considered green for two distinct reasons.
GREEN PRODUCTS…
Non green products are affect the natural Environments and the animals.
Some examples of Non green products are following;1. Plasma screen TVs2. Greenwashed products3. Gadgets 4. Chemicals5. Electric Ovens6. Refrigerator 7. Clothes Dryers and Home Heating Units Some of the examples are explain in below.
NON GREEN PRODUCTS…
Producing a picture by electrifying tiny pockets of noble gasses, sandwiched between two plates of glass, was a brilliant, science-fiction idea.
It idea was invented in 1964. The resulting flat-panel displays, known as plasma
screens, produced bright colours , dark blacks and a crisp picture.
Now there are millions of them installed in homes around the world.
PLASMA SCREEN TVS
CONT.. Plasma screen televisions use as much energy per
square metre. The boxy old-school TVs we grew up with―that
means 400 watts for a typical 50-inch display. These displays are so voracious that during the run-up
to the 2006 World Cup, when plasma screen televisions were flying off the shelves, one scientist estimated that if half of British households bought one
it would require two new nuclear power plants just to provide them with electricity.
PLASMA TVs
Earlier generation displays were more susceptible to screen burn in and image retention.
Screen door effects become noticeable on screen sizes larger than 127 cm.
Radio frequency interference from these devices can be irritating or disabling.
Plasma displays are generally heavier than LCD, and may require more careful handling such as being kept upright.
EFFECTS:
A electric oven, commonly referred to as a microwave oven.
It is a kitchen appliance that heats and cooks food by bombarding it with electromagnetic radiation in the microwave spectrum causing polarized molecules in the food to rotate and build up thermal energy in a process known as dielectric heating.
ELECTRIC OVENS
The idea was invented when a scientist who was experimenting with radio waves saw his chocolate bar, which he was holding at that time, melt.
CONT..
If properly used, microwave cooking does not affect the nutrient content of foods to a larger extent than conventional heating and that there is a tendency towards greater retention of many micronutrients with microwaving.
Microwaving human milk at high temperatures is contraindicated due to a marked decrease in activity of anti-infective factors.
EFFECTS:
A refrigerator colloquially fridge. It is a common household appliance that consists of
a thermally insulated compartment and a heat pump that transfers heat from the inside of the fridge to its external environment.
so that the inside of the fridge is cooled to a temperature below the ambient temperature of the room.
REFRIGERATOR
REFRIGERATOR
The refrigerator allows the modern family to keep food fresh for longer than before.
On the other hand, refrigerators and freezers can also be stocked with processed, quick-cook foods that are less healthy.
Refrigeration in transit makes it possible to enjoy foodstuffs from distant place
