• Goal is to :– Grow high quality forage throughout the

grazing season– Extend the grazing season as much as

possible both spring and fall– Provide quality stored forage for the

remainder of the year

• High legume content• Species adapted to your conditions• Adequate Rest and Recovery• Short grazing interval long rest interval• Water readily accessible in each paddock• Maintain residual grazing heights
