A Susceptible Population is agroup of animals that have

an identifiable commoncharacteristic for which therate/magnitude of responseor type of health outcome

differs (or could reasonablybe expected to differ) from

that of a referencepopulation.

Reduction in incidence or spread ofanimal disease will be achieved

through continuous seasonal andperiodical immunization against

contagious and infectious diseases.
