Limited through HDD method- Reg.

Reference: The Executive Engineer, NH Division, Mangaluru letter Nos. EE/NHD/MNG/AE- 1/NH-73/Km.20100-24. 100/NOC/OFC/2022-23/175-77 dated 28.04.2022.

The Executive Engineer, NH, Mangaluru vide letter cited under reference above (Annexure-|), has submitted proposals seeking permission for laying of OFC along NH -73 (Old -NH-234) from Bantwal Km 20.100 to Jakribettu Km 24.100 (RHS) and one Road Crossing at Km 20.100 for the total length of 4.00 Kms by M/s Telesonic Network Limited through HDD method- Reg.

4. The proposal has been examined as per Ministry’s Guidelines vide letter no.RW/NH- 33044/29/2015/S&R(R) dated 22.11.2016 and is generally found in order.

Ds In view of above, as per Ministry’s said guidelines Para 4, public comments are invited on the above proposal making claims and raising objections (on grounds of public inconvenience, safety and general public interest) if any within 30 days on public portal i.e., website of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (morth.nic.in) in Form-A (copy enclosed) for “Accommodation of Public and Industrial Utility Services along and across National Highways”.

The submitted proposal may be considered with the following conditions.

(1) | The OFC Cable shall not be laid at depth not less than approved de

surface / ground level.

(2) The OFC Cable should be laid as per IRC: 98-1997 Guidelines on Accommodation of utility services on roads in urban areas.

(3) Carriageway has to be restored for smooth vehicular movements immediately if any damages are observed during the work.

(4) All care & adequate safety measures have to be taken for controll Ng the traffic during the execution.

(5) This trench should be properly restored to the Original condition iN shoulder & formation area.

(6) | OFC Cable trench should not be done during monsoon. (7) Under any circumstances highway structures should not be damaged. (8) The OFC Cable trench will have to be shifted by the concerned department without damaging National Highway property in case it is re quired for widening / improvement or reconstruction,
