The  third  annual  God’s  Girls  Conference  is  right  around  the  corner!  God’s  Girls  is  Kingdom  Dominion  Church’s  all-­‐day,  GIRLS  ONLY!  empowerment  conference.    Created  in  2012,  the  conference  has  seen  hundreds  of  young  ladies  whose  lives  have  been  forever  changed  by  this  all-­‐day  experience  in  God.    The  purpose  of  the  God's  Girls  Conference  is  to  celebrate  the  God  given  uniqueness  of  young  women  while  imparSng  pracScal  concepts  that  promote  maturity,  self  worth  and  leadership.    As  soon  as  these  young  ladies  walk  through  our  church  doors,  they  experience  love  and  inspiraSon  while  learning  parSal  insights  applicable  to  their  lives.      

 They  leave  with  the  understanding  that  their  validaSon  comes  from  who  they  were  created  to  be  and  that  their  worth  is  invaluable!    God’s  Girls  InternaSonal  is  a  not-­‐for-­‐profit  organizaSon.  This  means  every  conference  has  been  conceived,  orchestrated,  and  operated  exclusively  by  our  church  members  and  other  volunteers.      Our  team  is  made  up  of  a  diverse  group  of  women  (and  a  few  men):  from  nurses  to  stay-­‐at-­‐home  mothers,  college  students,  professors,  and  deans,  caterers,  former  athletes,  and  more.  We  all  come  together  as  a  community  to  operate  as  a  successful  and  dynamic  organizaSon.  

Being  a  volunteer  at  the  God’s  Girls  Conference  last  year  has  changed  my  life  in  such  a  tremendous  way!  Seeing  young  girls  who  were  hurt  and  lost  touched  my  heart  deeply,  which  made  me  want  to  change  who  I  was  and  let  God  use  me  in  any  way  for  someone  to  have  a  true  Chris=an  role  model.  Since  the  previous  conference,  I  have  put  God  first  in  my  life  and…I  can  truly  say  I  am  free  and  on  fire  for  Him  to  use  me  in  every  aspect  of  my  life.

We  are  very  excited  to  host  and  present  our  3rd  Annual  God’s  Girls  Conference  at  Kingdom  Dominion  Church  in  Villa  Rica,  GA,    on  March  8,  2014  from  9:00  am-­‐  5:00  pm.  This  year’s  theme  is    “You  Are  Wanted.  You  Are  Loved.”  This  conference  is  free  of  charge  and  focused  toward  young  ladies  of  all  faiths  in  the  West  Georgia  and  surrounding  metro  Atlanta  areas.        

Last  year’s  conference  was  an  overwhelming  success!  Over  100  young  ladies  between  the  ages  of  12  and  21  were  in  agendance,  with  over  15%  of  those  young  ladies  giving  their  lives  to  Christ  for  the  first  Sme.  The  stories  of  empowerment,  personal  victory,  and  real  life  changes  the  young  ladies  conSnue  to  report  are  heart  warming  and  powerful.      

This  year,  we  are  again  bringing  back  “The  Real  World  of  Social  Media”  session—one  of  the  topics  on  the  conference  agenda  that  was  most  talked  about  by  the  girls.  They  learned  the  dangers  of  social  media,  the  do’s  and  don’ts  of  posSng  online,  and  how  to  brand  their  dreams  and  goals  early  on,  right  from  their  mobile  devices!  We’re  excited  for  the  return  of  our  “Self-­‐Esteem  Empowerment”  session,  reinforcing  the  truth  that  a  girl’s  worth  and  value  is  determined  by  God  and  not  by  the  world.      

A  new  topic  on  our  agenda  is  “What  is  a  RelaSonship?”—a  session  that  gets  down  to  the  real  deal  about  appropriate  relaSonships  for  young  ladies  their  ages.  All  these  events,  coupled  with  our  annual  fashion  show  and  an  opportunity  for  the  young  ladies  to  give  back  to  local  women’s  shelters,  is  certain  to  make  for  a  day  full  of  posiSve
