Discipleship – The process whereby we walk new and youngChristians through some of the foundational principles ofChristianity.

Process – We have the system in place. It starts with Pastor’s book –“Now That You’re A Christian”. It follows with a workbookentitled, “The Purple Book”. We then close out the discipleshipprocess with a customized study based on the individuals coreneeds.

Discipleship

Mentorship – (follows discipleship) The privilege of buildingrelationships with individuals for the purpose of helping themmature in their Christian walk.

Process – A customized system that flows directly out of thediscipleship structure and from the assessment of the mentor.

VIP – Volunteer Initiative Program.

Purpose - Provide opportunities for us to break outside of the walls of the church and into the community through volunteerism.

System - Working in collaboration with local volunteer centres, we will connect you with volunteer opportunities that best suit your personality, skill set and heart for people.

Opportunities – If you would like to volunteer your time and talents to this purposeful ministry, please contact the office.

VIP

Crusades – Special meetings held outside of our church building.

Purpose – To take the gospel to the streets, towns and communities of the surrounding areas.

System – Following a specified mandate for each event, we will organize every aspect from music to advertising.

Mass Mailing – The design and distribution of materials highlighting specific church events.

Purpose – To let the community know of events taking place through the various ministries of VLC.

System – Specified for each event; the design, organization and distribution of all mass mailings.

Conferences – Special meetings held here at the church or at a location within St. Albert.

Purpose – To provide opportunities for Christian growth and development first within the members of VLC and then to the Christian community at large.

What’s Equip? It is our bi-monthly team building gathering.

Who’s it for? For every person currently involved in an area of ministry here at VLC.

What’s it about? It’s all about Encouraging us to become all that God has designed us to be and Equipping us to Engage.

What’s an evening like? Pastor brings a timely word followed by team huddles. These huddles provides opportunities for each team to connect with their players to discuss strategy and scheduling.

Impart

What’s Impart? It is our bi-monthly team leadership gathering.

Who’s it for? For the leadership team here at VLC.

What’s it about? It’s all about Encouraging the leadership to become all that God has designed them to be and Equipping them to Engage.
