What has God given you? You must use it and become useful and productive. This is the will of God for you. But when you leave it your life will be a nightmare. I would rather be in the perfect will of God, than be in His permissible will. If what you are living for is this life, you are the most piti- able person. There’s no better life in the entire world than being a Christian. This you know that when your flesh dies you will live. People make the mistake of putting God in their programs, instead of being in God’s program. When you grow distant with God you are making your own decisions and only use His name. Be a friend of truth and an enemy of all that is wrong. Your journey through life is a process of decision-making. The sooner you make the right choices, the better. Do not ever be content with hav- ing reached a goal. If you do, you lose vision. There are a lot of people in his- tory who accomplished great things, but lost their vision. In the Bible, Noah was the only man who built an ark he never saw. No minor feat, indeed. But when he got drunk he lost vision. He might have reached a peak and could not see any further. Prophet Elijah’s vision was to do the impossible. He loved God and hated falsehood. He slew four hundred and fifty heathen prophets single-handed. He was a chivalrous man of God. But when he lost vision he fled cowardly from a woman called Jezebel. It is a dangerous, frightening and fatal thing to lose your God-given vision in life. It is a vision that keeps you young and going in life. Old age does not come with age, it comes with a loss of vi- sion, your purpose in life. Years do not matter to a man of vision. When you have vision you will know that your life is worth more than anything. A person of vision is a challenge to others, and so is his life. If you have vision, you withdraw from visionless company, from aimless people. If you do not have vision, you will live a nightmarish life. When you are discouraged in life you become careless. You need a goal to live for in this life, something that keeps you going. Vision will cause you to rise up from your sickbed, to change your char- acter, to become a man/woman of God. We all have dreams of what we want to become, but dreams cannot be fulfilled by average- thinking people People who have no dream or vision cannot see your dream or vision. Big vision will help you overcome any problem in life. A man of vision uses what he has to surpass what he had. Vision sees beyond circumstances, it unfolds and is progres- sive. Your vision will challenge you. Follow and obey God, He will take you places you have never been and you will see things working for you, not against you. Lay your own will down and take His will for you. You must conquer your own mountain in life before you can get ahead. A person of vision cannot fail, but can only be delayed and with God delay is not denial. What do you see God chal- lenging you to be or to do in 2011? Life is a battlefield. We are here only for a short time. Therefore, make the best of it God’s way. If you say that you believe in Jesus it means that your will is obedient and submitted to His will. The way of blessings is the way of obedience. Things cannot work for you according to your own will. This is why people pass from crisis to crisis in life unnecessarily. God’s power cannot work in a man’s heart that is disobedient to His will. If you are obedient to God’s will, He will give you power to succeed and prosper and everything you need. When you have a sense of righteousness it brings an awareness of power. When you have inward purity you will be un- der the power of the Holy Spirit. A true Christian should always be under the power of the Holy Spirit, just as a drunk- ard is under the influence of alcohol. You too should be under the government and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Take God’s Word daily and make it a part of you – it will change you. You were designed to think, talk, act and plan like God. God’s Word refreshes your mind and His Spirit renews your strength. This also you must know that no matter how you have con- ditioned yourself from childhood, you must be born-again. This is your ticket to a supernatural, a higher life with God. It is God who gives you power to suc- ceed and prosper in all areas of your life, to make you go beyond boundaries and make history in your lifetime.
