Global Warming

PLANNINGIntroduction (talk about what is G.W)

What is global warming?

Global warming happens when the earth temperature increase.

What cause global warming and what are the effects?

How to stop global warming?

The factors of global warming can be classified into two, which is natural factors and human factors. First, natural factors, the changes in solar output which means the amount energy radiating from the sun is not constant. The greenhouse effect also affect world climate. The greenhouse effect happens because of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and water vapour . When the heat from the sun enters the Earth, some of them reflected back to the space and some of them is absorbed by the greenhouse gases. This makes the temperature of the earth to rise. // Moreover, aerosols is the factor that affecting climates too. Aerosols are fine particles and droplets that can linger in the atmosphere for quite a long period. These particles reflected and absorbed solar radiation. The change of type and quantity of aerosols in the atmosphere wall effects the amount of solar energy reflected/absorbed.

REVISING (I)Considered repeated wordsits another topic here, so I separate it in another paragraph. The word is not suitable, it is then changed to causeTheme : Current IssuesBody Paragraph (1)

In the world of globalization, cars become more sophisticated and more factories being build up. All of them bring severe damage to our earth.

Research found that there are 2 main factors that cause global warming: natural factors, human factors.

Natural factors : solar output, greenhouse effect.Body Paragraph (2)

Greenhouse effect happens because the presence of greenhouse gases.Greenhouse gases: carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane and water vapour.

Aerosols are the fine particles and droplets that reflect and absorb incoming solar radiation.

The absorb of heat cause global warming.Body Paragraph (3)

Human factors can be divided into few types: open burning, fumes from vehicles, CFCs and deforestation.

Open burning produces carbon dioxide, fumes from vehicles produce carbon monoxide while factories release sulphur dioxide.

Deforestation destroy natural habitat.Body Paragraph (4)

Global warming rings a lot of effects to our environment.

Ice berg at poles melt and sea level rises.

The increase of temperature cause the yield of the crops decrease due to dry and infertile soil.

Animals that could not adapt the sudden change of climates died. E.g.: mammoth.Body Paragraph (5)

Ways to reduce global warming

Car poolingStop open burningReplantingDevelop more energy such as wind energy, geothermal energy.

Conclusion

Global warming is a severe current issue nowadays. Action should be taken in order to reduce the effect of global warming to our Earth.

What do you know about global warming? Global warming is when the earth temperature rises up. It happens when the greenhouse gas trap the heat from the surrounding. What cause global warming? How to stop global warming?

The factors of global warming can be classified into two, which is natural factors and human factors. First, natural factors, the changes in solar output which means the amount energy radiating from the sun is not constant. The greenhouse effect also affect world climate. The greenhouse effect happens because of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and water vapour . When the heat from the sun enters the Earth, some of them reflected back to the space and some of them is absorbed by the greenhouse gases. This makes the temperature of the earth to rise. Moreover, aerosols is the factor that affecting climates too. Aerosols are fine particles and droplets that can linger in the atmosphere for quite a long period. DRAFTINGThese particles reflected and absorbed solar radiation. The change of type and quantity of aerosols in the atmosphere wall effects the amount of solar energy reflected/absorbed.

Next, human factors which affecting climate are the enhance of greenhouse effect. Various of human activities releases greenhouse gases, such as open burning, the using of chlorofluorocarbon (CFCs) product like air conditioner and pesticide. Besides, CFCs also cause the depletion of ozone layer. Furthermore, deforestation also hidden cause of global warming. Deforestation destroy flora and faunas habitat and it also drives climate change. Trees help water cycle and regulate earth temperature. As deforestation keep carry out, the earth climate will change as there was no carbon dioxide and oxygen cycle. Carbon dioxide absorbs heat and then the earth temperature rise and cause global warming. When global warming occurs, the natural food chain and food web are affected. For instance, global warming cause the ice berg at the poles to melt, the sea level rises. This water then covers some small island, plants and animal soon dead. Additionally, some of the animals cannot adapt to the sudden change of climate and this make them die. Examples, mammoth had extinct due to this factor. The rise of temperature cause the decline in yield of crops due to dry and infertile soil.

How to reduce global warming? First, reduce the burning of fossil fuels. We can use lead-free petrol instead of fossil fuel. Besides, we should reduce deforestation but practice replanting. Moreover, non-renewable energy should be used wisely, and develop other sources of energy such as solar e. , wind e. , and geothermal e. . We can car pooling or public transport to reduce the emission of carbon monoxide.

Global warming is a severe current issue nowadays. Action should be taken to control the situation. It is not about individual problem, but related to the whole world, everyone should responsible to the earth.Back
