Famous PeopleAlbert Einstein said "Imagination is more important than knowledge," which may seem curious considering he was one of the most brilliant scientific minds of the 19th and 20th centuries.Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany, later continuing his schooling in Aaru, Switzerland. In 1896, Einstein began training as a teacher of physics and mathematics at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich. Unable to find a teaching job, he began work as a technical assistant in the Swiss patent office.
