During 1975 and ‘76, it was seen many times w/o pick guard. It was put back on permanently by the Fox Theater shows.
Bound neck w/ trapezoidal inlaysDuring the Street Survivors recording sessions, Gary left it on a stand in stead of the case. When he came back in the next day and picked it up, the head stock came off, right behind the nut. Roadie Craig Reed glued it back together and added a couple of screws and it played like new.
