    Assessment is one of the teaching

    process and the application of this

    procedure can help classroommanagement.

    Assessment can be carried out at any

    level and it is not restricted only at the

    end of the learning session.

    Measurement is the use of a

    tool

    to collect quantitative value or i

    nformation about individual

    learning achievement.

    Assessment is the processof making decisions based on

    results of measurements.

    In the evaluation process, teacher

    can give grade, certificate or

    decide whether the students needenrichment or remedial class.

    Evaluation can be used to place

    the student in suitable classesaccording to their level.

    and examination preparation process requires

    teachers to plan and set the following :

    Frequency of tests

    and examinations in one term or

    semester

    DRAFTING TESTS

    QUESTIONS

    test format is determined in reference

    to the test specification table (JPU-Jadual Penentuan Ujian). For

    instance, written test is the objective

    test or written essay.

    Non-written tests such as behaviour,

    such as to test the abilit to use a tool.

    Discuss with the teachers who teach the

    same subjects from other classes

    whether they agreed or not with thetopics which will be tested.

    All the students need to be informedabout the examination/test date and the

    topics that is going to be tested so that

    they have ample time to makepreparation.

    In drafting the test, teachers also

    need to pay attention to the

    following :

    test or examination must be fair

    and should be designed based

    on knowledge and skills that were

    taught. This test must emphasize important aspects that need to be known

    by students.

    PREPARE A CONDUCIVE ENVIRONMENT.

    Make sure the chairs and tables in goodcondition and suitable for students ages.

    Avoid using classes that is nearer to noisyarea or area which can attract studentsattention.

    Teacher should make sure fan and lightingfunction well and good ventilation.

    ALLOW THE STUDENTS TO ENTER THE EXAMINATION HALLEARLIER.

    Write the subject and time allocated for

    the test on the whiteboard.

    Prepare wall clock and place it at thecorner that students can see.

    STUDENTS SHOULD PREPARE THEMSELVES 10 MINUTES EARLIER.DURING THAT PERIOD, THE TEACHER SHOULD GIVE THE INSTRUCTION

    ABOUT THE PAPER.

    Teacher should inform the students about thesubject and time allocated

    Some of the rules and regulations during the examinationsare :

    Dont start the examination until being told.

    Dont speak or communicate or cheating inexam.

    Put up your hand if students needs anything.

    Only stationery is allowed to be placed on thetable. Bags, hand phone, pencil case must beplaced outside the classroom.

    Students are not allowed to leave theclassroom 30 minutes before examinationstart/end.

    Distribute answer sheet if needed.

    CHECK THE STUDENTS ATTENDANCE DURING THEEXAMINATION.

    Teacher should always invigilating students

    while they are doing their exam Teacher should remind the students how many

    minutes left (at least 15minutes) before the

    exam ended. Ask students to stop writing when the exam

    ended.

    Ask students to keep quiet and sit at their placeuntil all the answer scripts are collected.

    teacher should calculate the number of scriptscollected before students are allowed to

    dismiss.

    THE MANAGEMENT OF TEST AND EXAMINATION SHOULDGIVE EFFECTS TO THE STUDENTS.

    A good management will emphasize on

    the importance of the examination to thestudents and give a serious perceptiontowards the activity so that students will

    be more responsible towards theassessment.

    Students will be more trustful towards

    their teachers and school system if thetest and examination management arecarried out with correct procedures.

    Positive behaviour of the students will effecttheir behaviour in the classroom.

    Students will tend to give cooperation if they

    respect the organization they belongs to.

    These behaviour will lead to good socio-

    emotional in the classroom.

    AFTER THE EXAMINATION

    Collect and count the answer sheets.

    Tied it properly.

    Bring the answer sheets to the staff room. Make sure do not ask the students to bring

    the answer sheets to the staff room.
