2. Enable STIRC in the sector with thefollowing MML command:
ZEQM: BTS=<BTS I D>: STI RC=Y;
Abis interface is monitored.
STIRC is enabled successfully.BTS_CONF_DATA is sent to the BTS by the BSCwith the STIRC mode enabled.
The BTS sends ACK on BTS_BSC_ACK to theBSC.
The call is ongoing and the enabling of STIRCdoes not affect the ongoing call. This means thatthe call is not dropped and there are no additionaldisturbing sounds heard at the receiving end.
3. Trace master is used to monitor the UC-DSP traces
STIRC information is sent to the EQDSP in theINI message for both sectors.

4. Disable STIRC in the sector with thefollowing MML command:
ZEQM: BTS=<BTS I D>: STI RC=N;
Abis interface is monitored.
STIRC is disabled successfully.
BTS_CONF_DATA is sent to the BTS by the BSCwith the STIRC mode disabled.
The BTS sends ACK, on BTS_BSC_ACK to theBSC.

2.2 Reset from the BSC
The purpose of the following test cases is to ensure that the STIRC feature is
functioning correctly after reset from BSC or from BTS Manager.
Equipment and BTS set-up
Use the configuration stated below under the test case.
Input Expected Output
1. Enable STIRC for all the sectors with thefollowing MML command:
ZEQM: BTS=<BTS I D>: STI RC=Y;
STIRC is enabled successfully.
2. Abis interface is monitored. BTS_CONF_DATA is sent to the BTS by theBSC with the STIRC mode enabled.
The BTS sends ACK on BTS_BSC_ACK to the
BSC.
3. Trace master is used to monitor the UC-DSP traces.
STIRC information is sent to the EQDSP in theINI message for both sectors.
4. Perform an action as listed in the lower partof this table:
2. Abis interface is monitored. BTS_CONF_DATA is sent to the BTS by theBSC, with the STIRC mode as enabled.
The BTS sends ACK, on BTS_BSC_ACK to theBSC.
3. Trace master is used to monitor the UC-DSP traces.
STIRC information is sent to the EQDSP in theINI message for both sectors.
4. Replace the EDGE TRX by a GSM TRX. Alarm 7606 NON-EDGE TRX ACCIDENTALLYUSED IN EDGE CAPABLE MODE is reported onBTS Manager and on the BSC for the TRX.
5. Lock/unlock the sector. Alarm is cancelled and then reported again.
6. Disable STIRC with this MML command:
ZEQM: BTS=<BTS I D>: STI RC=N;7. A-bis interface is monitored. BTS_CONF_DATA is sent to the BTS by the
BSC, with the STIRC mode disabled.
The BTS sends ACK, on BTS_BSC_ACK to theBSC.
8. Trace master is used to monitor the UC-DSP traces.
STIRC information is sent to the EQDSP in theINI message for both sectors.
9. Lock/unlock the sector. All the alarms are cancelled and the BTS comesup in WO state.
10. Make speech calls. Calls are successful.
