The market grows and sells organic herbs. How do you make a greenhouse greener? With a little help from Sandri, it’s easy! Prior to the upgrade, the greenhouses were heated with propane. Sandri installed a pellet boiler system for their primary greenhouse that, in the future, we hope to tie in with two additional greenhouses. Pellets are stored in a 36 ton silo and we estimate that full bloom market will use around 350 tons of pellets per year, displace 59,700 gallons of fossil fuels, and will offset 756,339.3 pounds of CO2. easy!

Prior to the upgrade, the greenhouses were heated with propane. Sandri

installed a pellet boiler system for their primary greenhouse that, in the

future, we hope to tie in with two additional greenhouses. Pellets are stored

in a 36 ton silo and we estimate that full bloom market will use around 350

tons of pellets per year, displace 59,700 gallons of fossil fuels, and will

offset 756,339.3 pounds of CO2.
