This enables ‘go/no-go’ decisions to be made on site. The kits allow fuel to be tested for water, particle and bacterial content as well as visual appearance to the appropriate ISO standards.

With user-training, clients can use the mobile fuel testing equipment as part of their fuel quality management programme. If required, clients can upload results to the LCM Fuel Quality Database. Ready-labelled sample packs are also available. LCM will arrange collection of the fuel samples for analysis at the Southampton fuel laboratory.

FUEL SAMPLINGWater and other contaminants cause fuel to deteriorate and remedial action, such as the use of additives or fuel polishing, is needed to restore it to peak condition. To ensure consistent quality and performance, a regular programme of fuel sampling and testing is essential.

This allows you to efficiently monitor and review your fuel performance over any given period. Where contaminated fuel is detected, corrective action will be needed to address the problem.
