1. How would you organize your day if you worked from home? Would it be different from your current school days?

2. If you worked from home, what would be the biggest distraction for you? (e.g. fridge, TV, family members, the outdoors, Internet, etc.? Would you have enough discipline to sit and work? What kind of environment do you need around you to concentrate?

3. If you were going to work as a freelancer, what area of service would you be interested in offering? What additional skills would you need to work independently? How would you learn them?

4. Do you know people working independently? Would it be possible for you to be a freelancer and go to school at the same time? What would be the challenges for you to do both? Explain.

GROUP DISCUSSION AND PRESENTATION

DEBATE: Divide the class according into two groups according to their opinion whether they would like to be employees or freelancers. The goal of the discussion on each side is to persuade your opponents to change their mind and to join your group. Which arguments are the most powerful? Which group is the largest at the end of the activity? Explain why you joined or switched over to the group you did.

PREPARE AND PRESENT: Divide the class into four groups and select one of the following four: Ayn Rand, Friederich Hayek, Karl Popper and the Austrian School of Economics. Research on the Internet and the library and prepare a presentation for the others. What contributions did each make? Why are they recognized as being important? Why are they important for you?
