Frantic is the idea of Andrew Williams, a final year Student at Sheffield Hallam University studying Graphic Design. It has taken until late 2009 for the concept to fully take shape, despite the vision being born in late 2007 under the name Urban Frantic. The Urban part was dropped in favour of just Frantic in 2009, that’s when the ball really began rolling.Ok, so the brief. Well Frantic in its current form is in its infancy, the pages are blank and waiting to be filled with allsorts. As the curator of this project and currently the only one it’s only right that the content reflects what I am into. The scope is very wide, from Art and Design, to music, to sports, to politics, to architecture and advertising. Anything that I think my readers will be interested in.This is very important to me, I have always read, from the times I bought the sun when I was about 5 years old. I then graduated from that particular tabloid at age 7, leaving the intellectuals in the building and joinery profession in my wake as I sourced other material. So believe me when I say a lot of things get me going, its difficult not to be a geek when studying at University and especially when studying a for a design degree. This is Frantic 1.0, the first publication! And as 2009 is nearing its end, along with the decade I think this edition will contain the things I have enjoyed over that time period in no particular order.

He is responsible for manyother classic designs, for example the I love New York design which initially was to be used for a short time only, but now is iconic and used allover the world and has been parady’d many manytimes.
