This assessment is done across the state and is a great way for us to target the next sequenal step in your child’s learning even from this early age. If you have any quesons about Best Start or any of our school assessment strategies, please do not hesitate to contact me or your child’s teacher. Stage 2 will be parcipang in an online learning module on Cyber Safety this Thursday. This is a great iniave and something that we cannot be too careful with. I am sure that the kids will come home with lots of strategies to share with their families. Mrs Daley and Mr Moseley aended the first “Show Time” planning meeng for 2020. Our kids will be joining all of the schools in the Nambucca Valley to produce a trip back into the 80’s in the all dancing, all singing extravaganza to be held at Macksville High auditorium on July 30 th , Term 3. All of our students will be involved and we are so excited to be geng them back on stage! Stay tuned for more informaon in the coming weeks. Unfortunately we had some damage caused at our school over the weekend. Nothing major but disappoinng. Those involved are showing no respect for our Newville community and the kids that go to our school every day. The cost of the damage means money cannot be spent on new resources and experiences for our kids. They deserve more respect than this and frankly, so does our local community. I hope that the people responsible understand the effects of their acons. Finally, this Friday, we will be heading over to Macksville Pool for our Annual Swimming Carni- val. All children turning 8 Years this year and older are encouraged to aend as there will be suitable events and acvies for all abilies. Parents and carers are encouraged to come along and cheer our swimmers on, or help out with me keeping and judging. Our newly elected House Captains have been busily preparing their banners and posters and I am sure we are in for a cracking day. Please return all money and notes to school as soon as possible. All students Yrs 3-6 will be aending the pool on Friday, regardless of their permission to swim. There will be no staff
