• FOS is a regional project organization:– Schools– Kindergartens– Culture/music schools (Municipality schools of fine arts)– Adult education – Educational and psychological counseling services

• FOS offers services to more than 100 units in 6 municipalities.

• Continued training and refresher courses

• Cooperates with the County Governor of HordaIand

• Carries out a lot of tasks initiated by the County and State government

• Agreement with the Stord/Haugesund University College (refresher courses and further education)

• Cooperates with upper secondary schools (reduce drop-out, etc.)

• ”The Cultural Rucksack”• A small organization – Budget of 2 mill.

NKR• FOS has one employee –a regional

councellor working 90%.
