FOR IMMEDIATE RELESE Thursday, March 12, 2020 FAIRFIELD COUNTY TO POSTPONE STATE OF THE COUNTY ADDRESS Lancaster, Ohio - The Fairfield County Board of Commissioners will postpone its annual State of the County Address to a date later this year after there is more information from subject matter experts regarding the coronavirus. Commissioner Steve Davis, Board President, stated, “We are taking caution and following advice from the medical community and the Governor. We will postpone the State of the County Address to September 24 th , at a time to be announced as the date draws near. We are already scheduled to be at the WigWam on September 24 th and look forward to holding the State of the County Address there.” County leadership will continue to coordinate with the Lancaster-Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and the Pickerington Chamber of Commerce for the event.
