The Bobcats made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 2013 after claiming the Northeast Conference title. • Quinnipiac’s 71-69 overtime win against Hartford on Thursday extended the Bobcats’ home winning streak to 15 straight games as QU now stands 40-4 (90.9 win percentage) at home since 2012-13. • Eight Quinnipiac players set new career-highs in Thursday’s win over Hartford: Carly Fabbri (10 pts), Adily Martucci (9 rebounds), Katie Carroll (2 assists), Brittany Martin (3 assists), Aryn McClure (10 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks), Morgan Manz (15 points, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Edel Thornton (5 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists) and Sarah Shewan (4 steals). • Aryn McClure’s monster game over Hartford (10 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal) made history as she became the fastest Bobcat in program history to record a double-double (two games) • Brittany Martin became just the second player in program history to pick up a MAAC Rookie of the Week award as she was honored on Monday following her 16-point (4-8 FG, 2-4 3FG, 6-6 FT) at Army. • Paula Strautmane made some team history in the Bobcats’ season opener at Army on Sunday as she grabbed 10 rebounds (5 off, 5 def) in 19 minutes, becoming the first Bobcat in the program’s Div.
