The integrated shaftless spherical motor pumps with ECM technology are based on Ecocirc vario and Ecocirc auto heating pumps and meet the strict requirements of Energy Efficiency Class A for a high efficiency pump.
At only 9-35 Watt power consumption the ATM3eco circulation pump sets new standards.
Electric hot water heating. Design principle
Laing electric heating heats the water that thencirculates through the heating system. Laingelectric heating is a complete functional unit,consistingofanelectricheaterwiththreestainlesssteelheatercoils,aconstantlyquiet,highefficiencycirculationpump,asafetytemperaturelimiterandan electronic constant temperature control withadditionalfunctions.Allcomponentswhichcomeinto contact with media are corrosion resistant.Optionswithadiaphragmpressurecompensatingtankaswellasheatingacircuitmanifoldarealsoavailable.Theelectricheatingmaybealsomobileforemergencyheating.Alargecontrolprogrammeis provided for supplementary control of thestations.
Applications
Laingelectricheatingservesasaheatsource forradiator circuits or for underfloor heating. It isparticularly suitable for low energy houses, fordomestic water heating in summer, assupplementaryheatingforpassivehouses,insolarplants and heat pumps, for preventing frostingand icing and as emergency or building siteheating. As all components coming into contactwithmediaarecorrosionresistant,theyareideallysuited forusewithunderfloorheatingwithnon-diffusionproofpiping.Bycomparison, itcaneasilyand inexpensivelyberetrofitted in extensions or refurbishments. Itneeds little space and minimises the purchasingcosts.Itisasensiblealternativeforholidayhomesor weekend homes as well as for secondary orback-upheatingforaprimaryheatingsystem.
Benefits of hot water electric heating
Electric heating is an economic and sensiblealternative for well insulated rooms or buildingswhich are irregularly or infrequently heated. Thecharacteristicbenefitsoftheelectricheatingare:
Anadditionalattractionistherangeofspecialtariffswhichareofferedbytheutilitycompaniesinmanyplacesforelectricheating.Furthermore,losseswhichoccurwithconventionalheating(forexamplewhenstartingaburnerorinthetransitionperiod in part load) are unknown with electricheating. It only needs power when heat isrequired.
A furtherbenefit of electricwater heating is theabilitytochangeovertoanotherenergysourceatpracticallyanytime.Ifusagehabitshavechangedon a long-term basis, so that changing to adifferent heating system makes sense, electricheatingofferstheopportunitysimplytoretrofitinplaceofanoilorgasboiler.Thischangeovercanbeasensiblesolutioninroomsthatoncerequiredoccasional heating and now need heat on apermanentbasis.Ifthisistakenintoconsiderationwhendesigningtheplantthenthechangeover isoftenpossibleatlittleexpense.
